Siting Standards and
Rules Revisions
Introduction:
The new siting standards and update of Title 463 of the Washington
Administrative Code (WAC) became effective November 11, 2004.

Title
Reorganization:
In adopting its new siting standards as well as updating and modifying other
chapters of Title 463 WAC, EFSEC reorganized the Title and re-titled many of
the chapters for clarity (link
to table showing the reorganization). The rules have been
codified with the new chapter numbers.
Comments:
Comments on the proposed siting standards and other rules
revisions were taken through mid August, 2004. EFSEC received both oral
and written comments on its proposed changes to Title 463 WAC. Comments were
used to clarify the final proposed rules. The
